An article at Yahoo Tech relays that beginning 1/1/2009 you can now place a GPS device to your windshield, localized only to the lower left or lower right (for the many right side drive cars, I suppose) of the glass. I guess you can’t put in in the middle, so the power cord will have run across the floor.
