Dan X. Nguyen, Esq.
I graduated from Ocean View High School in Huntington Beach, California and then attended Whittier College (the alma mater of former United States President Richard Nixon). I actually started off as a pre-physical therapy major because when I was younger, I attended physical therapy for two weeks after spraining my ankle playing basketball, and was fascinated with the process.
After I took my first movement anatomy class in my freshman year, I became uninterested with the subject, so like many college students, I switched my major. Since I was always fascinated with money and how the world turned, I switched to Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, with an intention to become financial planner. After taking several classes, I developed a passion for the business world, and the economy was riding the Dot Com boom at that time.
Then the bubble burst.
I then decided to go to law school, and continued my studies at Whittier Law School, where I was the Executive Editor of the Whittier Journal of Child and Family Advocacy. Taking what I learned in my business classes and the passion I developed at the undergraduate and graduate levels for business, I decided that I would focus my practice on helping business owners and entrepreneurs.
I am admitted to practice before all courts in California, the United States District Court – Central District of California & Southern District Court of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. I am also a California licensed real estate broker and to give back, I tutor law students for the performance test section for the California Bar Exam as part of One-Timers bar review.
In my spare time, I like to play golf, snowboard, road & mountain bike, travel the world, and play guitar.
